From dreams to results with the versatility of Botox.

Did you know?

Botox can do so much more than treat and prevent crow’s feet and frown lines. Dr. Maloney has developed Botox techniques to:

  • reposition the facial features

  • re-contour facial dimensions

  • restore balance and symmetry to the face

Active Ingredient Botulinum Protein
Treatment Time ~20 minutes
Pain Level Minimal (1-3)
Downtime Minimal
Visible Results In 2-3 days
Full Results in 14 days
Results Last 4-6 months

‘Botox’ has become the generic term for injectables sold under the names Nuceiva®, Botox® and Dysport® and contain the neuromodulating protein, botulinum. By delivering a controlled amount of the active ingredient, Botox temporarily relaxes key muscles in the neck and face to produce a variety of aesthetic outcomes.

Wrinkle Treatment

Botox is commonly used to treat dynamic lines (lines that become apparent with facial movement). Regular use and early treatment with Botox can also prevent new wrinkles from forming and existing ones from becoming more prominent.

Treatment areas include: frown lines between the eyes, forehead creases, wrinkles around the eyes when smiling (“crow’s feet ”), vertical lines on the upper lip (“lipstick lines”), and wrinkles when scrunching the nose (“bunny lines”)

For static lines (lines that are apparent regardless of facial movement) fillers may be used instead of or in combination with Botox.

Lip Flip

The Lip Flip is a creative application of Botox that makes the lips appear larger without using fillers. By relaxing certain muscles around the mouth, the upper lip is lifted to expose more of the vermillion (the pink part of the lip). The result is typically more natural and more subtle than dermal fillers.

Gummy Smile Treatment

A smile of every kind is beautiful. However, patients who find that their smile exposes too much of their gums often feel self-conscious and avoid smiling altogether.

Botox can be used to lower the position of the upper lip when smiling and give these patients a grin they can sport with confidence.

Mouth Corner Lift

When targeting the DAO muscles (the muscles you use to make a ☹️ face), Botox can temporarily turn up the corners of the mouth. In some patients, fillers may also be used along with Botox to achieve optimal results.

Mini Brow Lift

The placement of Botox in the upper face can lift the eyebrows and ‘open up’ the eyes to give it a more youthful appearance. Lifting the eyebrows can also help to feminize the face by reducing the space between the eyebrows and hairline. And with strategic dosage and placement, Botox can further correct asymmetry in the eyebrows.

Neferiti Lift

Named after an ancient Egyptian queen famously depicted with a long and slender neck and jawline, the Nefertiti Lift procedure addresses age-related laxity, banding, and wrinkles in this area. By relaxing the vertical neck muscles connecting the lower face to the collarbone, the Nefertiti Lift can lessen neck lines, lift the upper neck area, and give the jawline a more defined appearance.

Jawline Slimming

Since Botox reduces muscle activity, muscles treated with Botox shrink over time as their activity decreases. This effect is used to slim down the width of the jaw by delivering Botox to the masseters (chewing muscles). Patients with enlarged masseters from grinding or clenching see the most dramatic results.

Slimming the jaw can rebalance facial proportions to make the mouth appear larger and the cheekbones more defined. And for transfeminine patients, Botox treatments to the jaw can be an effective yet minimally invasive way to feminize the lower face.
