TIXEL
The Latest Tech in Non-Invasive Skincare
Tixel is a state-of-the-art advancement in resurfacing treatments that sets it apart from traditional methods like laser, ultrasound, or radiofrequency. By harnessing the power of thermal energy and delivering it to the skin through direct contact, Tixel achieves remarkable anti-aging and rejuvenating results.
What Is Tixel?
At the core of Tixel's innovation is Fractional Thermo-Mechanical Ablative (TMA) Technology:
Fractional Precision
With each application or “pass” of the Tixel device, a small area of the skin is treated. This targeted approach allows for a higher intensity of treatment in areas that need it most, and a treatment plan tailored to the specific needs of your skin.
Thermo-mechanical Technique
The Tixel device utilizes a grid of titanium micro-pyramids, gently heating the skin's surface for a few milliseconds. Unlike treatments involving needles, these micro-pyramids deliver thermal energy to underlying tissues without piercing the skin.
Ablative Action
Through controlled microdamage caused by short pulses of heat, Tixel kickstarts your skin's natural restorative processes. By promoting the production of collagen, elastin, and new healthy skin cells, Tixel’s ablative technology leads to improved skin quality, firmness, and enhanced texture and tone.
With its cutting-edge Fractional TMA technology, Tixel is able to restore skin quality and firmness and improve skin texture and tone. This innovative solution is designed to target a range of concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation.
Why Choose Tixel?
Discover the reasons why Tixel stands out as the preferred choice for many aesthetic patients:
Non-invasive
Tixel distinguishes itself by being entirely non-invasive. Unlike other skin tightening and resurfacing treatments, Tixel requires no needles, lasers, or scalpels, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience.
Minimal Downtime
Thanks to the unique pyramidal shape of Tixel probes, the treatment minimizes "micro-crusting" of the skin compared to laser treatments. This translates to less skin flaking and a faster recovery period, all while delivering the same transformative results.
Tailored to You
Tixel treatments offer unparalleled customization. The intensity of the treatment can be adjusted to align with your specific goals and preferred downtime. Opt for the non-ablative Tixel for a lower-intensity rejuvenation without micro-crusting and minimal downtime.
Treatment with Comfort
Experience minimal discomfort during Tixel treatments, even at higher intensity levels. At lower intensities, the sensation is akin to a mild prick, and for more intensive treatments, a topical numbing agent can be applied to ensure minimal discomfort.
Proven Excellence
Case studies substantiate the outstanding efficacy of Tixel in skin tightening, smoothing, and evening out skin tone. And with its versatility, you can address multiple skin concerns with a single treatment option.

Customize Tixel To Meet Your Goals
Tixel treatments can be tailored to your unique aesthetic goals and individual needs by adjusting the level of intensity through one or a combination of the following parameters:
Contact Area: By adjusting the pyramidal micro-probes to protrude further from the Tixel device, a larger surface area of the skin is treated per pass and thermal energy reaches deeper layers of the skin.
Contact time: Adjusting the duration that the probes make contact with your skin by a couple of milliseconds will determine the ablative effect.
Number of passes: the effects of tixel can be amplified by doing multiple passes over certain areas.
The 3 Levels of Tixel Treatment
Tixel treatments are available in levels of intensity: Brighten & Refresh, Tighten & Smooth, and Lift & Transform
Tixel Level 1 — Brighten & Refresh
Downtime: As little as a few hours
Frequency: 3 to 6 treatments*, 4 weeks between each treatment
Ideal for those with a busy lifestyle, Level 1 Tixel is non-ablative, causing little to no micro-crusting or flaking, and ensures a faster recovery. Perfect for treating faint wrinkles, discoloration, and as a preventive measure against the initial signs of sun damage and aging. Level 1 treatments also contribute to brightening the skin and restoring a healthy glow.
What to expect after a Level 1 Treatment
Downtime is minimal, with mild redness and swelling lasting as little as a few hours following treatment. Faint micro-crusts may develop a day after treatment
Tixel Level 2 — Tighten & Smooth
Downtime: 2 to 4 days
Frequency: 1 to 3 treatments*, 6 weeks between each treatment
With deeper penetration and more passes, Level 2 Tixel has a moderate ablative effect and a slightly longer recovery period. Recommended for moderate lines and more pronounced pigmentation and sun damage. Level 2 treatments can also target localized areas like acne scarring and complement Level 1 as a comprehensive treatment.
What to expect after a Level 2 Treatment
Makeup can be applied 2 or 3 days after treatment.
Redness usually lasts up to a week, with mild redness present up to 6 weeks in some cases.
Swelling subsides within 1 to 3 days.
Microcrusts form 1 or 2 days after treatment, and usually sloughs off completely within a week
Tixel Level 3 — Lift & Transform
Downtime: up to 7 days
Frequency: 1 to 3 treatments*, 8 weeks between each treatment
High-intensity Tixel treatments involve using larger contact areas, longer contact times, and multiple passes for a deep ablative effect. Effective in treating deep lines, folds, prominent sagging, and advanced signs of sun damage. Ideal for those willing to invest in a longer downtime for more dramatic results in return.
What to expect after a Level 3 Treatment
Makeup can be applied 4 or 5 days after treatment.
Redness usually lasts 1 to 2 weeks, with mild redness present up to 4 months in some cases.
Swelling subsides within 2 to 5 days.
Microcrusts form 1 or 2 days after treatment, and usually sloughs off completely within a week
Is Tixel Suitable For Deeper Skin Tones?
Tixel is a safe and viable treatment for patients with deeper skin tones, up to Fitzpatrick Skin Type 5 (typical of Indian and Asian heritage). The adaptability of Tixel allows for the same exceptional results in deeper skin tones with minimal risk of complications.
A treatment plan tailored to patients with darker skin will involve a greater number of sessions performed at lower levels of intensity. Coupled with careful avoidance of the sun following treatment, this approach significantly reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. In cases where hyperpigmentation does develop after a Tixel treatment, it usually settles within 90 days.
